Job Summary

As an Automation Engineer or Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of machine control systems, from initial software design to on-site commissioning. Your daily activities will include developing and maintaining PLC software, designing user interfaces, and planning hardware systems. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting malfunctions, performing root cause analyses, and ensuring mechanical and electronic functions align with technical schematics. This position offers a high degree of variety, involving both in-house development and field service assignments at customer sites. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification/technician certification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Professional experience in PLC programming and automation systems
  • Experience in hardware planning and software project engineering
  • Proven track record in machine commissioning and on-site customer service
  • Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic and mechanical machine functions
  • Experience working with Allen-Bradley, B&R, or similar control systems
