Job Summary

This senior-level role involves the independent development of complex analog and digital electronic circuits for monitoring and diagnostic (M&D) systems. Working for a prestigious industrial group in Karlstein, the successful candidate will manage the entire hardware lifecycle, from initial concept and feasibility studies to PCB layout design and prototype manufacturing. A key component of the role is the development of low-level firmware in collaboration with software teams, as well as handling analog front-end sensor technology and signal processing. Beyond technical design, you will be responsible for EMC-compliant layouts, troubleshooting, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. This position is particularly attractive for engineers looking to bridge the gap between hardware, mechanics, and software, with long-term prospects to move into product management for sensor technology. The role offers a high degree of autonomy in a specialized technical environment.
