Job Summary
As a Software Developer at SPIE, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and advancing the custom interface between the Integrated Operations Management System (IBFS) and the OpenText Documentum document management system. Your daily responsibilities will involve Java development, independent error analysis, and troubleshooting within this interface environment. Beyond coding, you will manage the configuration and monitoring of Adabas databases and Natural environments on RHEL servers, while serving as a direct IT contact for clients to ensure efficient technical solutions. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, a comparable technical field of study, or vocational training as an IT Specialist for Application Development (Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung).
Experience
- Professional experience in Java development and programming
- Experience working with interfaces to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) systems
- Proven experience in RHEL-Linux and Windows system administration
- Deep understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL and MariaDB
- Experience in the field of Document Management Systems (DMS) is preferred
