Job Summary
As a PLC Specialist based in Wolfsberg, you will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle for industrial automation systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include independent software conceptualization based on technical specifications, programming Siemens S7 controllers using TIA Portal, and creating intuitive visualizations. Beyond development, you will be responsible for the commissioning and maintenance of systems directly at international customer sites, ensuring documentation and support standards are met. This position is particularly attractive due to the high variety of machinery, in-house control cabinet construction, and diverse process management environments. Required Skills
Education
Technical vocational training (Technical College or Higher Technical Institute/HTL)
Experience
- Professional experience in programming Siemens S7 (TIA Portal) or similar languages
- Experience in independent software design and conceptualization
- Proven track record in commissioning and maintaining industrial systems
- Experience working with electrical systems and control cabinet environments
