Job Summary
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects for the City of Halberstadt, focusing on road, path, and infrastructure construction. As a Civil Engineering Technician or Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and preparation of construction measures, including creating technical specifications, quantity surveys, and cost estimates. Your day-to-day work includes conducting public procurement procedures, coordinating with external planning offices, and supervising construction progress on-site. You will ensure projects remain within budget and meet legal requirements such as VOB and HOAI. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Master, or Bachelor) in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on Road and Civil Engineering. Candidates with equivalent professional experience and skills without a formal degree are also encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, specifically in road and infrastructure projects
- Experience in the preparation and execution of public procurement and awarding procedures
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating external planning offices and specialist planners
- Experience in cost control, funding settlement, and monitoring warranty periods
- Practical knowledge of relevant technical regulations and building law requirements

- The role requires a C1 level of German proficiency (implied for foreign degree recognition). Applicants with foreign degrees must provide proof of equivalence from the ZAB. Position is based in Halberstadt with 39 hours per week (full-time or part-time possible).
