Job Summary
As a Data AI Engineer at ippen.ai, you will be at the forefront of integrating Agentic AI into the editorial workflows of a major German media ecosystem. Your daily responsibilities involve building and operating scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and AI systems using a state-of-the-art tech stack centered around Databricks, AWS, and Apache Kafka. You will bridge the gap between raw data and production-ready models by developing feature pipelines, implementing MLOps CI/CD processes, and engineering Retrieval-Augmented-Generation (RAG) systems with LLMs. This role is ideal for a pragmatic professional who enjoys translating business requirements into technical solutions within a cross-functional, agile team. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, or a similar field; alternatively, a strong portfolio (GitHub, Kaggle, or personal projects).
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering
- Practical experience with Data Engineering tools such as dbt, Apache Spark, or Airflow
- Professional experience in MLOps, including model deployment and CI/CD for ML pipelines
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks and vector databases
- Professional experience with AWS cloud environments, Docker, and Terraform
