Job Summary

As an IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for the independent management and further development of service management for email frontend solutions, specifically focusing on mobile device mail access throughout the entire service lifecycle. Operating within a shared service delivery context, you will design, maintain, and optimize service processes while leading virtual, interdisciplinary teams. Your day-to-day will involve creating process documentation, managing reports, and coordinating escalations across various departments. You will act as a key communicator for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparent problem-solving and evaluating customer requirements to provide innovative solutions. This role is particularly attractive due to its 80% remote flexibility (with 1-2 days per week in the Frankfurt office) and its long-term perspective within an award-winning engineering service provider involved in international digitization projects.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or comparable training in the field of Business and/or Informatics; ITIL Certification required.

Experience

  • 5 years in IT Service Management
  • Professional experience in technical leadership and management of external service providers
  • Several years of experience with agile methods in the IT sector (e.g., Scrum Product Owner)
  • Proven experience in commercial reporting and calculation
  • Experience in managing escalations across interdisciplinary teams
