As an Embedded Software Engineer at ATLAS ELEKTRONIK in Bremen, you will be at the forefront of maritime high-technology, working on advanced hydroacoustics and sensor systems. Your daily responsibilities include analyzing product requirements to specify embedded software and electronic concepts, developing reusable software modules, and conducting rigorous design and code analyses to ensure high performance and quality. You will take ownership of the integration, validation, and verification of software components within complex systems. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of embedded software, preferably for electronic assemblies or systems
- Experience in programming with C, C++, Python, and Assembler
- Desirable experience in developing System-on-Chip (SoC) embedded systems
- Knowledge of time and clock synchronization methods over Ethernet (PTP and SyncE) is an advantage
- Experience in software/hardware integration, validation, and verification
