Job Summary

This role involves taking responsibility for complex infrastructure projects within high-voltage power grids. As a High Voltage Electrical Engineer, your day-to-day activities will center on the independent processing and examination of connection requests for high-voltage networks. You will perform critical grid calculations using DIgSILENT PowerFactory, analyze bottlenecks, and identify necessary grid reinforcements. A significant portion of the role involves developing alternative technical solutions to ensure grid compatibility and documenting these processes according to energy industry standards. You will also utilize GIS systems for network modeling and visualization while maintaining grid data in specialized databases. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Technology (Master's degree preferred).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the management and operation of high-voltage networks, specifically in the 110 kV range
  • Proven experience in performing grid calculations and stability assessments using DIgSILENT PowerFactory
  • Practical experience with grid compatibility analyses for reference customers
  • Experience in using GIS applications such as ArcGIS or QGIS for network visualization
  • Experience with SAP-related systems is considered an advantage
