Job Summary

As a Systems Parameterization Technician, you will play a critical role in the technical foundation of industrial systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve performing parameterization on technical systems, monitoring and optimizing system performance, and conducting thorough troubleshooting to resolve technical malfunctions. You will be actively involved in the implementation and commissioning of new systems, collaborating closely with project management, development, and electrical engineering teams. A significant portion of this role (approximately 33%) involves nationwide travel to construction sites for commissioning activities. This position is ideal for a technically-minded professional who enjoys a mix of office-based documentation and hands-on site work. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical training with further qualification as a Technician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field. Qualification as a Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) is required (can be obtained through the employer).

Experience

  • Professional experience in technical automation or control systems
  • Experience in PLC programming, specifically with Siemens S7 or TIA Portal
  • Experience in energy technology or control technology is preferred
  • Experience with systems such as SICAM or control technology (ABB, Toshiba, Mitsubishi) is advantageous
  • Professional experience in technical documentation and reporting
