Job Summary
As a Power Test System Design Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying semiconductor failure modes and developing innovative concepts for simulating these failures and monitoring degradation parameters. You will play a pivotal role in designing novel test systems and verifying failure modes in semiconductors while networking with global research groups to advance test methodologies. A key part of the role involves contributing to industry standardization efforts, specifically ECPE/AQG-324, and representing the company at international conferences and workshops. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of power electronics within the electric vehicle powertrain sector, particularly focusing on inverters. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in parameter measurement and reliability testing of power semiconductors and materials
- Practical experience in conducting reliability tests, specifically in the area of power cycling
- Experience in the design, characterization, or testing of power semiconductor modules
- Professional knowledge of electric vehicle powertrains and inverter systems
- Experience participating in technical discussions and standardization working groups
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to represent the company at international conferences and workshops; knowledge of specific industry standards (ECPE/AQG-324, JC70, AEC-Q101).
