Job Summary

As an Electrical Commissioning Specialist, you will play a critical role in bringing industrial plants to life on a global scale. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the electrical commissioning of complex systems, providing technical support both remotely and on-site, and leading construction sites during the commissioning phase. You will be the bridge between technology and the client, performing functional tests, error analyses, and system acceptances, while also training the client's operating and maintenance personnel. A key part of the role involves collaborating closely with software development teams to optimize PLC and visualization solutions. This position is ideal for those who enjoy international travel and hands-on problem-solving. It offers the stability of a permanent contract with a major engineering service provider, providing opportunities for professional growth and the chance to work on diverse projects for well-known clients in plant engineering.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrical Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Automation Technician, or a comparable qualification. Certification as a Qualified Electrician (Elektrofachkraft) is desirable.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the commissioning of machines and industrial plants
  • Experience in coordinating and leading construction sites within commissioning projects
  • Experience in collaborating with software development for PLC and visualization optimization
  • Proven track record in conducting functional tests and troubleshooting on-site
