In this role, you will lead and manage comparative product testing projects for the renowned consumer organization Stiftung Warentest. Your daily responsibilities include designing test programs based on scientific literature and legal standards, researching and commissioning external testing institutes, and evaluating complex test results. You will collaborate closely with editors to publish findings in high-reach magazines and online platforms, while also representing the organization's methodologies in advisory boards and to the public. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Food Chemistry and completion of the practical training for state-certified food chemists (Staatlich geprüfte Lebensmittelchemiker), or equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in relevant chemical analytics and the legal, toxicological, and environmental evaluation of cosmetics.
- Experience in the design and evaluation of application tests for cosmetic products.
- Proven experience in managing project timelines and budgets.
- Experience in scientific publishing or collaborating with editorial teams.
- Experience representing technical findings to media, courts, or public stakeholders.

- This is a part-time position (29.25 hours/week) starting July 1, 2026. The role is permanent and based in Berlin-Tiergarten. Candidates must be willing to act internationally and possess a B2 level of English proficiency or higher.
