Job Summary

As a Test Engineer for High-Voltage Components and Battery Management, you will play a pivotal role in the development of electromobility at Brüggen Engineering in Mannheim. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the validation of energy management systems, optimizing high-voltage component efficiency to maximize vehicle range, and supporting real-world test drives. You will be responsible for creating technical specifications, ensuring development quality through modern methodologies, and managing the full documentation and release process. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field of study. An additional vocational trade qualification is considered an advantage.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development and application of electronic components, specifically for high-voltage systems
  • Extensive experience in planning, conducting, and evaluating experimental test series
  • Proven experience in managing and leading projects within vehicle development
  • Experience in capturing and organizing specifications for energy systems using software tools
  • Expertise in simulating and analyzing faults in electronic and high-voltage environments
