Job Summary
As an IT Specialist at the Adult Education Center (VHS) Meppen, you will be the backbone of the organization's digital transformation. Your daily responsibilities include the administration and expansion of digital equipment, hardware maintenance for PCs, notebooks, and tablets, and supporting software solutions primarily within the MS Office and Windows environment. You will play a crucial role in managing smartboards, learning management systems, and a multimedia studio equipped with green-screen technology. Beyond technical maintenance, you will provide guidance to participants on learning platforms and collaborate with the AI specialist to manage infrastructure for AI-supported applications. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of technical administration, internal training, and strategic digitalization. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the IT field or a comparable qualification (e.g., commercial background with profound IT expertise).
Experience
- Professional experience in the IT sector following completed vocational training
- Practical experience in handling hardware, networks, and operating systems
- Experience with standard application software (MS Office and Adobe)
- Experience in providing technical instructions or training to users
- Experience in a customer-oriented or service-oriented environment

- Class B driver's license and willingness to use private vehicle for business travel between regional sites; readiness for mobile and flexible working hours; position is initially limited to 3 years with the option for permanent employment.
