Job Summary
As the Head of Facility Management at the Laubach Education Center, you will lead, coordinate, and organize the technical operations and building services for a major German social insurance institution. Your daily responsibilities include planning and controlling budgets, overseeing construction and maintenance projects, and ensuring the operational readiness of building automation systems. You will be responsible for technical safety, exterior maintenance, and leading a dedicated team. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Certified Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Trades, or Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology with further training as a Technical Business Administrator (Technischer Fachwirt).
Experience
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in building automation, fire protection, or emergency power systems
- Professional experience in personnel leadership, motivation, and development
- Experience in managing budgets and coordinating construction/maintenance measures
- Proven experience in technical facility operations and maintenance
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. Location: Laubach. Permanent full-time or part-time position available.
