Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position based in Stuttgart involves managing the procurement lifecycle for the Police Medical Service. As a Procurement Administrator within the Central Services Finance and Economic Administration department, your daily responsibilities will include the acquisition of IT equipment, furniture, and accessories. You will be responsible for processing incoming electronic invoices and maintaining accurate records within the relevant inventory management systems. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in public administration or commerce who enjoys working with standard office software and specialized administrative tools. The position offers the stability of a public sector contract under the TV-L collective agreement, flexible working hours between 6:00 AM and 8:00 PM, and the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment dedicated to essential public services.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Public Administration Specialist (Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r) or a commercial vocational qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in procurement or commercial administration
- Practical experience in processing electronic invoices and inventory tracking
- Experience working with SAP systems is highly desirable
- Proven track record of independent and responsible work within a team setting

- The position is located in Stuttgart (Nauheimer Str. 101). It is a full-time role (39.5 hours/week) but is generally eligible for part-time arrangements. Salary is based on Pay Group 8 of the Collective Agreement for the Civil Service of the Länder (TV-L).
