Job Summary

This role is based within the Central and Human Resources Office of the City of Ehingen (Donau), specifically within the Digitalization, Organization, and Elections department. As a Process Manager, you will be responsible for the independent development of process and project management frameworks. Your day-to-day tasks involve analyzing, documenting, and optimizing existing administrative workflows to bridge the gap between analog and digital operations. You will play a key role in implementing the Online Access Act (OZG), launching online administrative services, and rolling out a city-wide Document Management System (DMS). The position is particularly attractive for those seeking a secure public service career with flexible working hours, offering either civil servant status (up to A 11) or a collective agreement contract (up to 9c TVöD). This is a permanent, part-time position (50%) that combines technical oversight with organizational strategy in a modernizing public administration environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Public Management (Diplom-Verwaltungswirt or Bachelor of Arts), or completed training as a Senior Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt / Angestelltenlehrgang II), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in public administration or a comparable organizational environment
  • Experience in the analysis, documentation, and optimization of business processes
  • Experience with the implementation of digital workflows and administrative software
  • Demonstrated ability in independent project handling and organizational communication
