Job Summary

As the Head of Billing and Performance Audit at KVWL in Dortmund, you will lead a critical department of 65 employees, supported by three team leads, within the future-oriented healthcare sector. Your daily responsibilities include the strategic and operational development of the billing center, ensuring the accuracy of medical and psychotherapeutic service audits, and optimizing internal processes for quality and timeliness. You will act as a high-level point of contact for physicians regarding complex billing queries and drive departmental projects. This role is ideal for a leader who excels at managing interfaces between departments and using data analytics to improve organizational performance. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Health Management, Business Administration, Law, or a comparable qualification such as a certified Health Care Specialist (Fachwirt im Gesundheitswesen).

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in a leadership position
  • Professional experience in medical billing management, such as a practice manager in a medical care center (MVZ) or commercial lead in a large medical practice
  • Leadership experience within a health insurance company or other healthcare payer
  • Proven experience in implementing and guiding change processes and transformations
  • Experience in designing quality-assured administrative processes
