As a Project Coordinator for the RegioGuard-PRO initiative, you will play a central role in developing an AI-supported system for regional civil protection in the city of Trier. Your daily responsibilities include coordinating sub-projects, organizing workshops, and acting as a vital link between civil protection experts and software development teams. You will analyze existing infrastructure, document technical requirements, and help establish a demonstration center to test crisis management solutions. This role is particularly attractive for professionals interested in the intersection of digitalization, AI, and public safety. Working within the Office for Land Management and Geoinformation, you will contribute to a federally funded research project (BMFTR) that aims to improve decision-making during emergencies. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoinformatics, Security and Hazard Defense, Emergency Management, Rescue Services, or Natural Sciences.

Experience

  • Experience in system analysis and the definition of technical requirements
  • Practical experience in the conception and implementation of IT projects
