This role involves serving as a Scientific Coordinator or Executive Assistant to the Director of the Optical Nanoscopy department at the Max Planck Institute for Medical Research. You will act as a critical link in the department's operations, managing high-level administrative and scientific tasks such as coordinating national and international research collaborations, preparing conceptual papers, and organizing scientific conferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting research evaluations, drafting correspondence, and analyzing research-strategic information to help develop institutional concepts. Required Skills
Education

Additional
- Willingness to travel occasionally between Heidelberg and Göttingen is required. The position is initially limited to a 2-year fixed-term contract.
