Job Summary
As the IT Lead Engineer for Network at Hirschvogel Group, you will spearhead the global network infrastructure team from the holding company in Denklingen. You will be responsible for the strategic design and continuous development of the global IT network architecture, setting international standards and concepts. Your daily routine involves leading a globally distributed team, managing 3rd-level support, and ensuring the seamless operation of LAN, WAN, and firewall systems across all international sites. This role is pivotal in driving IT sourcing management and vendor relations while overseeing complex implementations. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in IT, IT Technician qualification, or a comparable qualification. Required certifications include Associate level (e.g., CCNA, NSE 3, AZ-700) and Expert level (e.g., CCNP, NSE 8, AZ-305), plus ITIL 4 certification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the technical leadership of global, multicultural teams
- Extensive experience in agile project management
- Proven track record in designing and implementing global network architectures
- Professional experience in managing external vendors and IT sourcing
- Experience in high-level (3rd-level) network support and lifecycle management
