Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technical professional to join a family-oriented company in Leipzig, working on diverse industrial automation projects. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and commissioning automated systems, primarily within the mobility, food and beverage, and logistics sectors. You will act as a key technical troubleshooter, identifying faults in electrical and mechanical components and collaborating closely with design and software teams to advance projects. A unique aspect of this position involves conducting on-site training for operating and maintenance personnel. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the installation and commissioning of industrial machinery
- Experience in reading and implementing structured electrical and mechanical plans
- Initial experience with PLC and HMI systems such as Siemens or Allen-Bradley is preferred
- Experience working in collaborative environments with engineering and software departments
