Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Power Engineering, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning and design of high-voltage switchgear projects (up to 380 kV), including both gas-insulated (GIS) and air-insulated (AIS) systems. Your daily activities will involve creating conceptual designs, technical specifications, and detailed execution plans, as well as dimensioning primary equipment such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, and transformers. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with project management, clients, and adjacent engineering disciplines like civil and steel construction to ensure seamless project delivery. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the primary planning of high-voltage or extra-high-voltage switchgear systems
  • Experience in creating technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and bills of materials
  • Proven track record in coordinating with cross-functional engineering disciplines such as civil and steel construction
  • Experience in the application of relevant technical standards and guidelines (DIN/VDE, EN, IEC)
