Job Summary
As a Tax Consultant at HASPA Finanzholding, you will join a specialized team of 50 employees at the helm of a major financial group with over €60 billion in assets. You will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and managing tax declarations across the group, including the Hamburger Sparkasse AG. Your daily activities will involve developing tax-optimized solutions, managing tax planning and forecasting, and contributing to annual and consolidated financial statements. You will serve as a key point of contact for tax authorities, auditors, and internal boards. This role is unique for its blend of high-level strategic tax consulting and operational involvement in finance and accounting. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business Administration with a focus on Taxation; Certified German Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in tax consulting or auditing
- Successfully passed the German Tax Consultant (Steuerberater) exam
- Experience in handling complex tax law issues
- Professional experience in finance, accounting, or a banking-related environment is preferred
- Experience in tax law specifically for credit institutions or capital investments is ideal
