Job Summary
This part-time Research Associate role (9.94 hours/week) is based in Düsseldorf and focuses on the 'KluGe' project, which addresses climate consequences and environmentally conscious property drainage. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the technical processing of topics related to the prevention and impact of pollutants in water and wastewater. You will translate complex scientific data into accessible information for consumers, multipliers, and the professional public through workshops, seminars, and social media content. The role is ideal for candidates with a background in environmental sciences or engineering who enjoy public engagement and advocacy. Required Skills
Education
Successfully completed scientific university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Analytical Chemistry, Civil Engineering (with a focus on water/wastewater management), or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of micropollutants or nature/environmental education and information work
- Proven experience in communicating complex technical content to diverse target groups
- Experience in the conception and implementation of events, seminars, or workshops
- Experience in networking and political interest representation
- Experience in handling consumer inquiries and stakeholder dialogues
