Job Summary
This role involves the technical administration and supervision of road construction and green space maintenance projects for the City of Nuremberg. As a Technical Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring traffic safety on public surfaces, coordinating and billing smaller construction measures with external contractors, and managing maintenance tasks performed by internal staff. A significant part of the role includes leading assigned personnel, managing vehicle and machinery deployment, and overseeing winter clearing and gritting services as an operations lead. Required Skills
Education
Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Road Construction, Landscaping, or related construction trade; or completed vocational training in road construction with a Foreman (Werkpolier) qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in road construction or landscaping
- 5 years of experience in road construction required if applying via the vocational training and Foreman (Werkpolier) route
- Experience in managing and instructing personnel
- Experience in coordinating external contractors and billing construction services
- Experience in resource planning for vehicles and machinery
