Job Summary
This role involves developing, optimizing, and maintaining complex cloud and on-premise data environments for the BMW Group. You will be responsible for building automated data loading processes and sophisticated data models for analytics and reporting purposes. A significant part of your day-to-day will involve creating and optimizing dashboards using Amazon Quick Suite, defining KPIs, and ensuring data validation. You will act as a bridge between technical departments and business units, translating requirements into data-driven solutions and governance structures. This position is particularly attractive due to its international scope, offering the chance to work on global digitalization projects within a dynamic campus environment in Salzburg. The role combines technical hands-on work with strategic data modeling in a modern tech stack including Snowflake and AWS.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the Data and Analytics environment
- Extensive experience with cloud data platforms, specifically Snowflake
- Proven experience in building and maintaining data models and automated loading processes
- Experience in creating dashboards and reports, ideally within Amazon Quick Suite
- Experience in international collaboration and managing digitalization projects
