Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in series support, you will serve as the primary technical point of contact for pyrotechnic automotive safety products throughout their entire lifecycle, from Start of Production (SOP) to End of Production (EOP). Your daily responsibilities include managing technical aspects of product groups, collaborating closely with production plants, customers, and suppliers to resolve manufacturing deviations. You will be responsible for validating long-term problem-solving measures, contributing to Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) initiatives, and managing technical change requests. This role is unique for its high level of cross-functional coordination between headquarters and international production sites, offering the chance to directly influence continuous improvement processes in the critical field of passive automotive safety. The position is ideal for a solution-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of analytical investigation and practical implementation within a successful international industrial environment.

Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a similar field.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in technical project support within the automotive industry is preferred
  • Experience in design and development is considered an advantage
  • Professional experience in managing technical product groups and production interfaces
  • Experience in handling customer-relevant product and process changes (Change Requests, Specifications, Verification)
