Job Summary
As an Infrastructure Management Engineer for the Hamburg Port Railway, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of the port's technical infrastructure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve overseeing the functionality of control and safety systems, as well as electrical engineering components. You will be instrumental in developing forward-thinking concepts for new signal boxes, radio technology, ETCS, and overhead lines. A significant portion of the role involves planning measures in compliance with legal and Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) regulations, requiring close coordination with authorities and internal departments such as track construction and operations management. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a specialization in Control and Safety Technology (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik).
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning, construction, or maintenance of technical systems.
- Experience in control and safety technology, telecommunications, or electrical systems.
- Foundational knowledge in track construction and railway operations is preferred.
- Experience working with legal regulations and critical infrastructure (KRITIS) requirements.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage complex technical relationships.
