Job Summary
This role involves shaping the energy transition by planning and implementing automation projects for energy systems, including battery storage, photovoltaic systems, and combined heat and power plants. Day-to-day, you will program and commission energy management systems using WAGO PLCs, create visualization solutions, and perform remote troubleshooting and analysis. You will be responsible for integrating energy data into central systems and implementing communication interfaces like Modbus, TCP/RTU, and REST-API. This position is ideal for technical experts who enjoy collaborating with electrical planners and designers to deliver climate-friendly solutions. The role is particularly attractive due to its high level of flexibility, offering over 100 individual working time models and hybrid work options. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, ideally with further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman; or a completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Information Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using CodeSys V3.5 or Siemens S7
- Practical experience in the field of energy technology and energy management systems
- Experience in the planning and implementation of automation projects
- Experience with communication interfaces and protocols such as Modbus and REST-API
