Job Summary
This role involves joining the Hamburg-based office of EG Group, one of the world's largest independent fuel and retail providers. As a Tax Specialist, you will manage a broad spectrum of national and international tax matters, including the preparation of tax returns and calculations for annual financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code (HGB). A significant portion of the role focuses on transfer pricing documentation, analyzing intercompany transactions, and coordinating tax audits with financial authorities. You will also monitor legislative changes and support M&A or divestment activities. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellte/r) with relevant further training (e.g., Certified Tax Specialist/Steuerfachwirt), a successfully passed Tax Consultant exam (Steuerberater), or equivalent long-term professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in a tax firm, tax office, or corporate tax department with a focus on corporate taxation
- Experience in preparing tax returns and calculations for annual financial statements (HGB)
- Experience in coordinating tax audits and communicating with tax authorities
- Experience in transfer pricing documentation and intercompany transaction assessment
