Job Summary
Join the German Aerospace Center (DLR) as an EMC Test Bench Engineer, contributing to the future of electrified aircraft propulsion. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing EMC test concepts for innovative hybrid-electric propulsion systems. Your responsibilities will include specifying and conceptualizing a novel HepCo-EMC test bench, overseeing its construction and commissioning, and subsequently operating it. This involves planning, executing, and post-processing experiments, as well as leading test campaigns. You will also manage projects for industrial and research partners, leveraging your expertise in electromagnetic compatibility and electrified drive technology to advance sustainable aviation solutions. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or Diploma in Engineering Sciences (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Physics, Measurement and Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering) or other relevant fields
Experience
- Experience in the conceptualization and construction of research and development test benches
- Experience in preparing and conducting publicly funded research projects at national and European levels
- Experience in interacting with customers and development partners
