This role involves the design, implementation, and management of complex, scalable, and secure network architectures for a major social organization. As a Network Administrator / Network Designer, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation, identifying emerging technology trends, and developing long-term infrastructure strategies. You will lead large-scale network projects from planning through to execution, ensuring high performance and strict compliance with enterprise security standards. Reporting directly to the Head of IT, you will optimize existing systems while integrating new technologies to support over 2,500 employees. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in a relevant field or vocational training as an IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker).

Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in network planning and implementation
  • Several years of experience in project management and coordination of large network projects
  • Extensive experience with Linux systems and hardware from Cisco and HP
  • Proven experience in integrating new technologies and improving existing IT infrastructures
  • Professional experience in developing enterprise-wide security strategies and policies
