Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of automation solutions, including programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting control systems such as Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. Your daily work involves error analysis, system optimization, and the creation of technical documentation and circuit diagrams. You will also collaborate with specialized departments to implement new automation solutions and provide training to maintenance staff. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or a university degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using systems such as Siemens, Beckhoff, or Allen Bradley
- Proven experience in the commissioning of machines and industrial plants
- Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation and circuit diagrams
- Professional background in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation technology
Languages
Additional
- Willingness to work shifts, nights, and weekends is required. Occasional business travel is expected. A Class B driver's license is desirable. The role is based in the Gera/Zwickau region.
