Job Summary
As an I&C Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing maintenance processes within the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (I&C) domain. Your day-to-day activities involve designing new maintenance initiatives and strategies, creating design specifications, and reviewing procurement documents for both repairs and new construction projects. You will play a critical role in developing plant standards and execution regulations for electrical systems while ensuring compliance with evolving legal requirements. Additionally, you will manage smaller control system projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys analytical thinking and process improvement. The position offers significant flexibility through mobile working options, flextime, and a permanent contract, supported by extensive professional development opportunities through an in-house academy.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; alternatively, advanced training as a state-certified Technician or Master Craftsman in the field of Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or maintenance
- Several years of professional experience required if applying with a Technician or Master Craftsman qualification
- Experience in creating plant standards and execution regulations
- Experience in handling small-scale control system projects
- Foundational knowledge of industrial safety and VDE regulations
