Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the sophisticated design and implementation of electrical architectures for both civil and military power generation units. Your day-to-day activities involve conceptualizing electrical redundancy and protection systems, selecting high-quality components, and creating comprehensive technical specifications and manufacturing documentation. You will serve as a technical bridge, coordinating with partners, subcontractors, and suppliers while overseeing the entire lifecycle from assembly to commissioning and troubleshooting. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to manage specific sub-projects and work packages in close alignment with internal departments. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a completed vocational training as a Mechatronics/Electronics Technician with further qualification as a State-Certified Electrical Technician.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the design of complex electrical systems, machines, and power units
  • Experience in creating technical specifications and manufacturing documentation
  • Proven track record in coordinating with external partners, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Experience in commissioning, testing, and error analysis of electrical systems
  • Experience with ECAD systems and ERP software
