Job Summary
As a Business Intelligence & AI Specialist at KENFO, Germany's largest public-law foundation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's data-driven future. Operating within the IT team, your day-to-day will involve developing and maintaining BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, and Azure. You will design complex data models, build lakehouse structures, and integrate diverse data sources via REST APIs. Beyond reporting, you will lead the implementation of the foundation's AI strategy, developing AI agents and evaluating emerging technologies to optimize internal processes. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with internal departments and external service providers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the development and implementation of BI solutions
- Proven experience with Microsoft Power BI, Fabric, and Azure Data Factory
- Professional experience in SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Practical experience with AI technologies and machine learning strategy development
- Experience with modern data architectures such as Lakehouse and Data Warehouse
- Experience in risk and compliance management within an AI context is preferred
- Experience in financial data analysis or investment environments is ideal
