Job Summary
This role within the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy focuses on supporting the startup ecosystem and financial technology sectors in Bavaria. Working for the 'Startup Bavaria' and 'Financial Services' units, you will manage funding projects such as WERK1, the Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator, and the InsurTech Hub Munich. Your day-to-day responsibilities include organizing high-level ministerial meetings, drafting speeches and press releases, and coordinating with external stakeholders like chambers of commerce and industry associations. Required Skills
Education
University Diploma or Master’s degree (consecutive, at least 300 ECTS) in Business Administration or Economics with a final grade of 1.8 or better.
Experience
- Professional experience in project funding, including state aid and subsidy law issues is preferred
- Experience in preparing briefings and documentation for executive leadership
- Proven track record in communicating with external partners, authorities, and associations
- Experience in moderating meetings and workshops
- Background or strong interest in business startups and financial services
