Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the electrical integrity and operational efficiency of a global polycarbonate production facility in Mülheim. As an Industrial Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end maintenance of electrical systems, including troubleshooting production machinery, planning urgent repairs, and coordinating project-based modernizations. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on work with Siemens S5 and Sinamics controllers, designing new circuits and control cabinets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations through regular testing and documentation. This position is unique for its high level of autonomy, allowing you to act as the primary contact for medium and low voltage systems, transformer stations, and fire alarm systems. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Energy Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, strictly requiring a Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification or an equivalent technical degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of extrusion and plastics technology
- Professional experience in electrical maintenance and fault analysis within a production environment
- Experience in planning and coordinating electrical repair work and project-based tasks
- Experience in the development and implementation of new circuits and control cabinets
- Experience handling medium and low voltage systems, including transformer and fire alarm systems
