Job Summary
This role at WMS Wematech in Hilpoltstein focuses on the maintenance, repair, and complete overhaul of conventional and CNC machine tools. As an Industrial Electronics or Mechatronics Technician, your daily responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of electrical systems, from creating electrical schematics and purchasing components to the hands-on construction of control cabinets. You will also be responsible for integrating safety technology retrofits into existing machinery. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Industrial Electronics Technician or Mechatronics Technician; further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician is highly desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in the repair and overhaul of conventional and controlled machine tools
- Practical experience in electrical planning and creating electrical schematics
- Experience in the organization and procurement of electrical components
- Proven track record in control cabinet construction from design to completion
- Experience in integrating safety retrofits into existing electrical systems
