Job Summary
As a Security Engineer specializing in F5 Networks, you will be responsible for the analysis, planning, and implementation of highly available IT infrastructures and cybersecurity strategies. Your daily routine involves minimizing cyber-attack risks by designing and operating Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and modern authentication solutions for web-based applications. Beyond technical implementation, you will provide 2nd level support, participate in on-call rotations, and conduct customer workshops. You will also act as a technical expert supporting the account management and consulting teams during the pre-sales phase. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical work and client-facing advisory. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training and/or a university degree in the field of Information Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience managing central IT systems within large-scale IT landscapes
- Proven experience working with F5 BIG-IP products, ideally supported by relevant certifications
- Practical experience in the design, implementation, and operation of Web Application Firewalls
- Experience with authorization protocols such as SAML and OAuth is preferred
- Initial experience or knowledge in IT automation tools like Ansible
- Experience in conducting technical customer workshops and providing service-oriented support
