This role involves supporting the operational implementation of building material testing both on-site and in the laboratory. As a key member of the Kiwa team, you will be responsible for inspecting structures and components made from various materials including concrete, masonry, wood, and steel. Your day-to-day duties include preparing for investigation projects, taking material samples on-site, documenting findings, and conducting standardized laboratory tests. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a manual trade (e.g., Mason, Carpenter, Reinforced Concrete Builder) or a comparable craft qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in a manual trade such as masonry, carpentry, or reinforced concrete construction
- Experience in testing building and construction materials is desirable
- Proven manual dexterity and craftsmanship skills
- Experience working in a team environment and willingness to learn from senior experts
