Job Summary
This role involves the independent development and maintenance of specialized GIS topics for various departments within the District Office, as well as managing the public-facing Citizen GIS for the district. The day-to-day responsibilities include advising, supporting, and training GIS users across different technical departments, acting as a primary contact for GIS partners, and participating in GIS working groups. You will also be responsible for user administration and the creation of custom geodata evaluations. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy modernizing administrative workflows through geodata. The role is based in Schwäbisch Hall-Hessental and offers a collaborative environment within a highly motivated team. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering (B.Eng., B.Sc., or Dipl.-Ing.) specializing in Geoinformatics, Geodesy, Geography, or a related field of study.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development and maintenance of GIS specialized topics

- Proven experience working with ArcGIS and QGIS platforms
- Experience in geodata analysis and independent structured problem-solving
