Job Summary

This role acts as a strategic partner to the management of uni-assist, the central service point for international student applications in Germany. You will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation of high-level decision-making materials, including complex analyses, reports, and presentations for the board and member universities. Key duties involve coordinating internal and external inquiries, managing projects on behalf of management, and ensuring the smooth organizational flow of board meetings and general assemblies. You will serve as a vital interface between various departments, ensuring that strategic goals are tracked and implemented. This position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical skills and a background in business or public administration. The role offers the stability of a permanent contract under the TV-L public service collective agreement, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to contribute to the internationalization of the German higher education landscape.

Required Skills

Education

Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Political Science, or Administrative Science (or equivalent skills and knowledge).

Experience

  • Professional experience in market analysis and organizational management
  • Proven experience in creating reports, statistics, and presentations for executive boards
  • Experience in project coordination, including milestone planning and requirement management
  • Background in managing interfaces between internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Experience in organizing high-level meetings and general assemblies

Additional

  • The position is based on a 39.4 hour work week with part-time options from 35 hours available. Remuneration follows the TV-L (EG 11) scale. Candidates must be able to handle sensitive information with high levels of discretion.
