Job Summary

This permanent, full-time role focuses on building pragmatic architecture governance and driving engineering effectiveness across a remote-first organization. As a Lead Architect, you will act as a key sparring partner for the COO and Product/Engineering Leads, moving beyond abstract enterprise architecture to create actionable standards and 'golden paths' for delivery teams. Your day-to-day involves designing governance models like Architecture Councils and ADR processes, guiding modernization paths from monoliths to modular services, and integrating AI-supported development practices. You will lead through influence rather than hierarchy, fostering a culture of transparency and enablement. The position is ideal for a strategic thinker who wants to operationalize non-functional requirements and security-by-design while improving the developer experience. Success is measured by reduced rework, faster conflict resolution, and the successful adoption of modern AI coding practices within a real delivery environment.
