This full-time, permanent role at the State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation in Kiel focuses on the quality assurance and continuous updating of official geobasis data for the state of Schleswig-Holstein. You will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of automated processes and the 'geobAsis SH' dataset, specifically within the ALKIS and ATKIS frameworks. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Geodesy, Geoinformatics, Geography, or a comparable field. Alternatively, qualification for the 'Technical Services' career path in Geoinformation Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in geodesy, geoinformatics, or geography
- Proven proficiency in using GIS software such as QGIS and ArcGIS
- Practical experience in programming with Python for geodata applications
- Experience working with ALKIS/ATKIS data models is highly desirable
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated data workflows

Additional
- Applicants must provide module proofs with their degree. For geography graduates from CAU Kiel, a GeoDataScience certificate is preferred. The role is based in Kiel and offers remuneration according to Besoldungsgruppe A 11 SHBesO or Entgeltgruppe 11 TV-L.
