Job Summary
This role involves working within a GMP-regulated environment at Axolabs, a leading CRO/CDMO specializing in RNA therapeutics. As a Laboratory Technician, your day-to-day activities will focus on the analysis of therapeutic nucleic acids using advanced HPLC and ESI/MS techniques. You will be responsible for sample preparation—including weighing, dissolving, and filtering—as well as performing purity and content determinations. Beyond technical analysis, you will document results in IT systems, maintain laboratory inventory, and participate in quality management (QM) development and process optimization. This position is particularly attractive due to its location in an international team at the forefront of genomic medicine, offering a permanent contract, 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours via a flextime system, and comprehensive relocation support for those moving to the Kulmbach region.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a scientific field (e.g., Chemical Laboratory Technician, MTA, CTA, PTA) or a relevant university degree (maximum Bachelor of Science).
Experience
- Professional experience in instrumental analytics, specifically HPLC, LC/MS, or UV/VIS
- Experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory environment
- Proven track record of conscientious, structured, and independent work habits
- Experience in data evaluation and documentation using specialized IT systems
