Job Summary
This role involves working within a biodiesel production facility to ensure rigorous quality control and process monitoring. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the daily inspection and documentation of incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products. Your routine will include conducting and evaluating process and quality samples, monitoring critical production parameters, and maintaining, cleaning, and calibrating laboratory equipment. This position is unique because it explicitly welcomes career changers (Quereinsteiger) who possess a strong technical and chemical understanding, offering a comprehensive induction program to bring new hires up to speed. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Technology) or equivalent technical/chemical background for career changers.
Experience
- Professional experience or training in a scientific field such as Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Technology
- Experience in handling laboratory equipment is preferred but not mandatory
- Professional background demonstrating technical interest and a structured way of working
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment
- Experience with basic PC applications for documentation purposes
