Job Summary

As a Rolling Stock Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the critical final phases of rail vehicle production and testing. Your day-to-day activities involve conducting comprehensive functional and system tests on rail vehicles both in stationary positions and during dynamic test runs. You will verify safety-critical systems such as automatic train protection and use specialized software like Siemens RailCom or Alstom Train Control to adjust and release central vehicle functions. A key part of the role includes documenting results in SAP or MS Office and collaborating with technical workshops for root cause analysis. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning, testing, or quality assurance is preferred
  • Experience in conducting functional and system tests on rail vehicles
  • Experience in technical documentation and fault analysis within a professional environment
  • Experience working with safety-critical standards such as VDV or DIN ISO
